Rumors are circulating that Lou Piniella called Ozzie Guillen for advice on how to beat the Pittsburgh Pirates after the White Sox completed a three-game sweep of the Pirates in Pittsburgh. Cubs have one win against the Pirates in nine attempts.

“Yeah Lou [expletive] called me,” said Guillen, adding,” I told him when their [expletive] pitchers throw their [expletive] pitches down the middle of the plate knock the [expletive] out of the ball!”

Guillen was all laughs after the Sox won their eighth game out 10 and moved to 6.5 games out of first place. “There’s a lot of games left with the Tigers and Twins,” said Guillen.

The Sox will attempt to win their fourth in a row against the phenom, Stephen Strasburg, this evening in Washington D.C. The Sox will send Gavin Floyd to the mound who took a no-hitter into the seventh his last outing against the Cubs. Strasburg walked five in his last outing, so if the Sox hitters go in with the right approach they may be able to get to him.
