“A-Rod Playing Poker” by Coolidge

Known for having a sculpture of himself and never one to shy away from a camera or pose for a portrait, the famously narcissistic New York Yankees’ third baseman, Alex Rodriguez may have posed for one piece of artwork too many.

Captured in the now infamous painting “A-Rod Playing Poker” by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge, Rodriguez is clearly seen committing baseball’s cardinal sin, gambling.

In a story broken by Major League Assholes’ own Peter Verniere yesterday on Facebook, MLB is now conducting an investigation into a massive underground illegal gambling ring the has been rumored to include other high-profile names such as Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio and Ben Affleck.  As a result, MLBBreakingNews is now following us on Twitter (seriously—I had to do a double-take).

As to how Verniere was able to come across such guarded information, many have speculated that he is actually pictured in the incriminating piece of art and is, in fact, immortalized by the artist as the dog to A-Rod’s right about to lick himself.

More is sure to come in this scandalous story and MLA will be on top if it as developments unfold.
