It looks like former pot smoker, Tim Lincecum is returning to the Giants starting rotation for Game 4 of the NLCS after being relegated to the bullpen due to a horrendous regular season in which he posted the worst ERA in the National League at 5.18 ERA.  Many have suggested his poor performance is directly related to the lack of whacky tobacky in his system these days. But it seems he’s righted the ship since the demotion having given up only one run while fanning eight over 8.1 relief innings thus far this post-season.

It’s just cool to see a superstar swallow his pride, do whatever it takes to help his team and be rewarded in the end. Kind of reminds me of Bob Marley’s Redemption Song.
