While it’s become painfully obvious that players will lie and lie and will continue to lie, numbers don’t. As long as ESPN’s “Long Gone Summer” whitewashed 1998’s fraudulent Sosa/McGwire home run race, why not look at other jerks like Albert Belle who actually had a better year than Sosa?
