For the past three months, disingenuous owners leveraged their propaganda of “biblical” losses to a stalemate with the Players Association claiming the lack of game-day revenue supplied by us fans would require player salary cuts, the decimation of the minor leagues, and a much shorter season than anyone wanted. However, those same owners had, in fact, been planning on having fans in their ballparks to some degree all along.
