MLB’s COVID-19 testing program got off to a rocky start with seemingly avoidable logistical issues delaying results and creating logjams that canceled team workouts and practices across the league. While unprecedented circumstances could explain the major hiccups, MLB hasn’t earned the benefit of the doubt after wasting so much time fighting over money instead of developing an efficient testing system.
