It’s one thing when crackpot podcasters/bloggers/vloggers conjure up ridiculous theories to explain Javy Baez‘s struggles at the plate. It’s another thing when Cubs’ talking heads spew the same stupidity on the Marque Network. But it becomes a real problem and a self-fulfilling prophesy when the player himself begins using no fans in the stands as a bullshit excuse and a crutch that won’t solve his problems at the plate.
